Winch it Out - Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout Release

The Beer

Each year in November, we crack into the barrels of Winch it Out Imperial Stout that have been aging with delicious dark, viscous liquid. Over the years we’ve used barrels from Buffalo Trace, Woodford Reserve and Four Roses - but this year’s release is coming out of Wild Turkey barrels. This award-winning beer has medaled at the Washington Beer Awards (2018, Bronze) and the San Diego International Beer Competition, bringing home a Silver in 2022 and a Gold in 2023.

Expect an espresso aroma and flavors of bittersweet chocolate, raisin, plum and molasses, with a creamy mouthfeel and roasty finish.

Perfect for the winter weather, and makes a nice addition to holiday meals and celebrations. This release will be available in a very limited quantity of 4pk 16oz cans. Look for it on tap in a few specialty craft beer locations around SW WA and Portland. At the pub, you can try a vertical pour of the last 4 years’ vintages!
