Melon Rye Triple IPA Release

The Beer

Originally our brewmaster’s wedding beer, we’re bringing the Melon Rye Triple IPA back for the first time since 2020! This year’s release will align to different celebrations of imperial and triple IPAs in the Pacific Northwest, so be sure to look for it in SW WA, Portland, Seattle/Tacoma, and other specialty spots in Oregon and Washington.

This is a special beer for some very special people in our BMB family - and we wouldn’t be Barrel Mountain without them. So here’s to Mel and Ry(an) - cheers to the release of Melon Rye TIPA! Clocking in at 10.8% ABV and 108 IBUs, brewed with rye malt and Huell melon hops along with Simcoe and Mosaic. (Iykyk - there’s about as much significance packed in the numbers and the naming as there are hops and booziness into this brew!) This Triple is “big, bad and bitter…spicy and boozy” (thanks, Mel!). Cheers to BMB beers, to the best brewmaster we could ask for, and to the beautiful bold couple behind the brew!

Melon Rye TIPA will be available in a very limited quantity of 4pk 16oz cans. Look for it on tap in a few specialty craft beer locations around SW WA and Portland. And of course, as with ALL of our beers, you can find it at our pub in Battle Ground!
